Complete Rear Sight for K98, 8mm Mauser (CZ 98/22, VZ-24).  This listing is for one original STD K98, 8mm Mauser complete rear sight with base mount and spring & ladder with traverse
. I believe these were for early CZ 98/22 and VZ-24 rifles, they will also fit some Czech export rifles like the Peruvian 1935, many of the Belgian manufactured South American K98 rifles and the Spanish Model 1943.
(Fitment for these sights is 3/4″ diameter, possibly considered small ring by some.  I’ve also seen these be referred to as standard ring and even large ring but I believe the large ring are a little under 1″ diameter.

These sights may not fit all models, including those mentioned.  There are so many variants out there, you must do your homework.  I’m not an expert on this subject, all information was provided to me by a gun historian).

NOTE:
Pictures show typical condition of these sights, there’s some pitting, scratches, etc.  Even though these were originally packed in cosmoline, there is likely to be a minimal amount of rust as they are many decades old.  Part shown has been cleaned with a wire brush and/or Scotch Brite to better show condition of part, this process removed the small amount of bluing that was left on this sight, the part you receive may not be as cleaned up.  Some of these sights have a little bluing left on them and some have quite a lot of bluing left on them.  Restoring these sights for re-bluing will require the part to be free of all oil and grease, the surfaces can be refinished with Scotch Brite, fine emery cloth or fine bead blasting at lower pressures depending on the finished look you’re going for (consult your local gunsmith).
